Auto Body Refinishing And Paint Matching
A bad paint match is the giveaway that ruins an otherwise good repair. The panel might fit perfectly. The body work might be flawless. But if the paint doesn't match, you'll see it in every angle of sunlight from now on.
We do refinishing the way it should be done. Computerized color matching to find the exact factory formula, careful prep work, climate-controlled application, and a clear coat that protects the finish for the long haul.
How We Match Paint
Modern factory paint isn't a single color. It's a layered system, often with metallic flakes or pearl effects that change appearance based on viewing angle and light. To match it, we read your existing paint with a spectrophotometer that captures the actual pigment, metallic content, and tint.
That reading goes into the paint formulation system, which mixes a custom batch matched to your specific vehicle. We test the match on a spray-out card before applying it to your vehicle, comparing it under multiple light conditions. If it doesn't match, we adjust until it does.
What Quality Refinishing Looks Like
Surface prep is where most refinishing fails. Without proper sanding, sealing, and primer application, the finish coat won't bond correctly and won't last. We don't skip prep.
The paint goes on in a downdraft booth that filters air and controls temperature for proper flow and curing. After base coat application, we follow with clear coat, then bake the finish so it cures hard and resists future chips and weathering.
The result is a finish that matches your factory paint and holds up the same way.
Beyond Collision Refinishing
We also handle refinishing work outside of collision claims. If your vehicle has fading clear coat, sun damage, or you want to refinish a panel after rust repair, we can do that too. Walk in for an estimate.
